Your Recovery Key
Everything you store here is protected with end-to-end encryption: it can only ever be unlocked with your password. This Recovery Key is a second, independent way to unlock your data, and it is the one you'll need if you ever forget that password.

Keep this document somewhere safe and private. Anyone who has it can use it, together with your email address, to regain access to your account.
This is the only copy. Please read before continuing.
We never store your password, and we never store this Recovery Key either. By design, nobody at this company can see either one. That is what makes your data genuinely private. It also means that if you forget your password and lose this key, there is no support request, no identity check, and no override that can get your account back. The data would be permanently and irreversibly inaccessible, to us as much as to you.
So before you continue: print this key, or save it as a PDF, and store it somewhere secure and durable, such as a locked drawer, a safe, or a trusted password manager, separately from this device. Treat it with the same care as a spare key to your home.
How to use this key, if you ever need it
- Go to the login screen and select Forgot your password?
- Enter the email address for this account, along with this Recovery Key.
- Choose a new password. Your account and existing data will then unlock with it.
You will not be asked for this key at any other time, and nobody from this company will ever ask you for it either.
Reset your password
This only works if you have the Recovery Key you were given when you created your account. It is the only way to reset a forgotten password, since we never store your password or your Recovery Key ourselves.
What you'll need
- The email address for your account.
- Your Recovery Key, exactly as it was shown to you at registration.
- A new password to replace the one you've forgotten.
